Class taken at Seattle Glassblowing Studio prior to the 2004 GAS Conference in that city.

This is the pick up belonging to Fritz's friend parked at the curb.
This is the beginning move, all the green is provided by powder.  Here a blown bubble has become the lower body and a clear flat bit makes the windshield and side windows..
A thin bit run up the correct line becomes the side pillar/door frame.
A roof is added with a flattened bit.
Now flat pieces are pulled and assembled into a pickup bed
The floor of the bed.
Sides and back of the bed.
Add cookies for wheels and axle.  Concentration.
Recover the shape after heating.
Reheat.
Start a fender.
Take it around and cut if off.
Finish the fender shape.
Flatten the back.
Punty to the back and turn in the front and start shaping the front.
Reheat the punty.

Work over and add clear bits for details, mirror, hood ornament.
The finished piece.  Funky.
The finished piece.
